Family Fun Night

The PTG is sponsoring a FREE Winter Family Night on Thursday, December 2nd at 6:30 pm in the Southgate Elementary cafeteria. There will be crafts, hot chocolate and a special story reading by our very own Mrs. Vickiy VanBeek. The Winter Giving Baskets will also be on display and you will be able to purchase tickets. ALL the proceeds from the Giving Baskets go to help Southgate families in need this holiday season. See you there!

PTG Meeting

Our next PTG meeting is Wednesday, December 8th at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. This will be the last opportunity to purchase Winter Giving Basket tickets. The drawing will follow the meeting. Childcare will be provided. Please come and share your ideas. You can also email them to southgateelementaryptg@gmail.com.

Winter Giving Baskets and other Goodies

*Winter Baskets*

Southgate's 4th Annual Winter Giving Basket Raffle has begun! The baskets are on display outside the office and raffle tickets will be on sale throughout conferences and at Winter Family Night for $1 each or 12 for $10. Raffle winners will be drawn at the Winter PTG meeting on Wednesday, December 8. All proceeds from the tickets sales will be given to Southgate families who are in need of a little extra support. This is an exciting event for our school and is a wonderful opportunity for Southgate families to come together and support each other during the holiday season!

*Winter Family Night*

Join other Southgate families in the cafeteria on Thursday, December 2 at 6:30 pm for a fun filled night of holiday cheer! There will be cookies and hot cocoa, holiday crafts, and our very own principal, Mrs. VanBeek will be reading Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Winter Giving Basket raffle tickets will be on sale and PTG will have an assortment of greenery from Sherwood Forest available for purchase. Come join us for some holiday cheer!

*Winter PTG General Meeting*

PTG's Winter General Meeting will be Wednesday, December 8, at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what PTG has been up to and find out how you can help enrich the lives of students and staff at Southgate. Winners for the Winter Giving Baskets will be drawn and announced at the end of the meeting. Please join us for this exciting event!!

*Bingo Night*

Mark your calendars for Bingo Night on Friday, January 7, 2011, at 6:30 pm. We had a packed house at last year's event and there were lots of winners. This event is hosted by the Kindergarten parents so bring the family for a night of fun and show your support for the newest members of our Southgate family!

Movie Night Details

Where: Southgate Elementary Gym @ Fruitland

What Time: 6:30-8:30 pm (doors open at 6:15 pm)

Price of Admission: One Parent

Each child must be accompanied by a parent

What to Bring: blankets, pillows, sleeping bags- Anything you need to get comfortable

We'll be watching Toy Story 3

Marimba band will be selling treats to raise money for the coming year.
