Winter Giving Baskets

Southgate PTG is again partnering with Mrs. Shelp and the classes at Southgate to give back to families in need. Each classroom will put together a fun themed basket that is then raffled off right before winter break. All money raised is donated via Mrs. Shelp to Southgate families who may need assistance this holiday season.

The baskets will be on display in the hall in front of the library during the conference days. You will be able to buy your tickets throughout that week and at the winter family fun night in December. You can examine each basket and only buy tickets for the basket(s) you are interested in. Tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10.

Super Spirit Friday!

Hello Dragons!

Tomorrow (Friday, October 21st) is Super Spirit Friday. Show your school spirit and dress in the colors of your favorite local high school. Which school will you choose?

Kamiakin High - Red and Yellow - The Braves

Kennewick High - Black and Orange - The Lions

Southridge High - Navy and Yellow - The Suns

Students showing spirit will receive a small prize from the Southgate Ptg.

Box Tops

Box Tops for Education has helped America's schools earn over $400 million since 1996. Clipping Box Tops is a small way you can make a big difference at Southgate. Box top coupons are on the packaging of hundreds of participating products that you probably use every day. All you need to do is cut them off of the box they are on, stick them in a baggy and send them to school with your child.

Our October Box Tops classroom competition is in full swing! The competition will end on October 24th. The classroom that collects the most box tops will earn a party of their choosing so be sure to write your child's classroom # or teacher's name on the bag with the box tops you turn in.
