Read Across America
March is Read Across America month! Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program. Read more about the program here.
Southgate students love reading and that makes March a great month at Southgate! As part of our participation in Read Across America, Southgate is having a Read-a-thon (March 2-25). Students will track their reading minutes each week while they read their way across America. The more minutes they read the farther they will go! Please encourage your child to keep track of all the minutes they read.
