Bring your favorite book and come dressed up as your favorite character for Super Spirit Friday! We will end the day with a school-wide Stop, Drop and Read. We're excited to see which book characters show up at Southgate today!

This Friday, March 28th, is Super Spirit Friday. Students can bring their favorite book to school and come dressed as their favorite character. We will end the day with a school-wide Stop, Drop and Read. What a great way to finish off Read Across America Month!

March is Read Across America Month

March is Read Across America Month and we love to celebrate reading at Southgate! Aside from our birthday celebration yesterday we have a Family Movie Night coming up and a Super Spirit Friday (dress up as your favorite book character). We are looking forward to celebrating with you so mark your calendars now!

 

Also, you still have time to read 10 hours and get a free ticket to Silverwood Theme Park. The dealine to turn in your Silverwood tally sheet is March 21st.
