Carnival!

Our Annual Carnival is fast approaching!

Please join Southgate families this Saturday, February 26th from 1:00-4:00 pm in the Southgate (at Fruitland) cafeteria and gym. Each classroom will have a game booth. We're looking forward to a fun filled afternoon!

A is for Americans

The Tri-City Americans know how important it is to work hard in school and get good grades. As a special reward, they have designated Tuesday, February 22nd as A is for Americans Night.

Bring your report card, progress report, or scheduled conference time to the game, show it to the folks in the ticket booth and get a free ticket!

Parents and other family members can purchase tickets at a reduced rate:

Adults: $14

Seniors: $11

Students ages 10-19: $10

Children ages 3-9: $9

Mention that you go to Southgate and they will put you in a special section just for Southgate Dragons and their families.

Leprechaun Dash

Happy Valentine's Day Southgate Dragons!!

On Saturday, March 12th, the 3 River Road Runners, along with several local partners, are sponsoring the Leprechaun Dash, a one mile fun run for kids in elementary and middle school. It is free to participate; you can purchase a t-shirt (optional) for $15 if you would like to. There will also be a school competition with the winning school receiving a check for $1500 to be used for PE equipment. How great is that? In order to be eligible for the cash prize, Southgate must have at least 100 finishers of the run. To win, we must have the most participants from our school.

Currently, White Bluffs in Richland has the most registered participants. PTG would like to challenge all of its families to participate, show your school spirit, have fun, and exercise while helping to earn some new PE equipment for our brand new Southgate Gym!!

Parents' Night Out- TONIGHT!

Parents' Night Out Open Gym is being hosted by the Southridge Gymnastics team on Monday, February 14th (TODAY! Happy Valentine's Day!) from 6-8 pm. The cost is $5 per child (ages 5-12) and there is no pre-registration required. Kids should wear gymnastics-appropriate clothes (leotard or t-shirt/shorts, no buttons, zippers or snaps please) with long hair tied back.

Super Spirit Friday and Bunko Night Cancelled

Bunko night for this Friday, February 4th, has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience!

But our Super Spirit Friday for February will be this Friday (4th). We are supporting National Wear Red Day. People across the country and YOU will be helping to raise awareness in the fight against heart disease in women. Thanks for your support!
