All School Picnic

We would love to see you at our All School Picnic on Wednesday, May 30th! Lunch times are staggered by grade level and will be your child's normal lunch time. Bring your lunch or order a hot dog lunch from Southgate. Order form fliers were recently sent home with your child. Please enter through the main doors and sign in at the office. We will be eating on the grass near the playground areas. You may want to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. We look forward to seeing you there!

Book Fair

Our Book Fair is still open and going strong! Be sure to come by and check out the many titles we have available for your child's summer reading. We also have plenty of other goodies to interest you... laptop eraser anyone? The last day of the Book Fair is May 23rd. Don't miss out!!

Spring Book Fair

Our spring book fair is here! It opened  on May 7th and will close May 23rd. Come check out the great selections available for your summer reading. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Cook (222-4886 or amy.cook@ksd.org).

Ideas for Teacher Appreciation

Teachers spend a significant amount of time educating and nurturing our children each day. This week be sure to give them the Shout-Out they deserve! If you are having a hard time deciding how to best express your appreciation, you can follow the themes the PTG has chosen for celebrating each day.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Did you know this week (May7th-11th) is teacher appreciation week? We are very blessed to have excellent teachers at Southgate who spend countless hours teaching our children. This week let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate their efforts. Send a treat or a card or simply say Thank You. It's always nice to be appreciated and our teachers truly deserve our thanks!
