Field Day

Southgate Field Day is June 6th! Please volunteer to help make this a fun event for our wondrful students! You should have received or will soon receive information on volunteering for this event (orange 1/2 of paper coming to you via your child's backpack). We look forward to seeing you there!

Field Day

Our Minute to Win it Field Day is tomorrow!

 

Thank you to all who are volunteering. This event could not happen without YOU! Please remember to sign in at the office and wear a name tag.

 

Have your child wear sunscreen and send extra with your him or her.

 

Students should bring their own water bottle, clearly marked with their name.

 

Hats are allowed (no one likes a sunburn on their head!).

 

Some students may get wet so consider throwing some spare clothing in their backpack.

Field Day

Field Day is TODAY! 

This is an ALL DAY event with each class rotating outside in the morning and afternoon. The weather forecast is for wind and afternoon showers. Please dress your student for being outside ALL DAY. We will immediately bring all students inside for lightning and thunder!

Thank you to all the fantastic families who have volunteered to help. Check in for ALL Shifts is on the basketball court (AM by 8:30am; PM by 12:30pm). Preschool and kindergarten siblings are welcome to stay with you while you volunteer at events. Please DO NOT go to your students classroom!

All day long there will be a NEED for volunteers, if you are only able to attend part of the event, or did not sign up to help ... PLEASE still join us! Come check in at the brown CHECK IN tent near the basketball court for assignments.

Thank you to EVERYONE who is making this an incredible event! Water balloons should be brought to the basketball court by 8:30am.
