Today is Super Spirit Friday!

The theme is Favorite Book Character.

Bring your favorite children's book to school and come dressed as your favorite character. We will end the day with a school-wide serpentine and Stop, Drop and Read. We can't wait to see who your favorite book characters are!

March 29th is Super Spirit Friday!

Students should bring their favorite children's book to school and come dressed as their favorite character. We will end the day with a school-wide serpentine and Stop, Drop and Read. What a great way to finish off a fun and busy month of reading! Thank you Dragons for participating in Read Across America. It's been a great month!!

We will have family friendly crafts and a book exchange. Bring a gently used book and participate in our book exchange. See you tonight!

 

Silverwood Reading Logs Due

Today is the day!!

 

Remember to turn in your Silverwood Reading log TODAY, March 18, 2013 to get a free ticket to Silverwood for the 2013 summer season! Please add up all your minutes and don't forget the parent's signature.

Also, tomorrow night (March 19th) there will be a Free Family Fun Night. Join us for family friendly crafts and a used book exchange.

March is our "Month of Reading Madness"

Grad a book and READ with the CAT! Beginning March 1st accept the READING CHALLENGE to increase your monthly reading minutes. All school reading minutes will be tracked in the cafeteria. GO DRAGONS! Let's increase our monthly totals!

From March 1st-17th, students will track their reading minutes each day while they read their way across America. The more minutes they read the farther they will go! Each student is encouraged to read 600 minutes to earn a free Silverwood ticket.

Reading logs are due by or before before March 18th.

Don't forget the PARENT'S SIGNATURE.

Seuss Hats!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Today is March 1st and we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday!

Students who purchased Dr. Seuss hats should wear their hat to school today. We will start our morning with an Oobleck Snack, guest readers and FUN Seuss-related activities.
